이 섹션의 명령어들은 Ubuntu 8.10 및 CentOS 6.2에서 테스트되었습니다.

아래와 같이 /etc/init.d/sonar 파일을 생성합니다:

 /usr/bin/sonar $*

부트 시점에 SonarQube를 등록합니다(Ubuntu, 32 bit):

 sudo ln -s $SONAR_HOME/bin/linux-x86-32/sonar.sh /usr/ bin/sonar
 sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/sonar
 sudo update-rc.d sonar defaults

부트 시점에 SonarQube를 등록합니다(CentOS, 64 bit):

 sudo ln -s $SONAR_HOME/bin/linux-x86-64/sonar.sh /usr/bin/sonar
 sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/sonar
 sudo chkconfig --add sonar
